Residents at the rapidly growing Melbourne suburb Point Cook will now be able to escape the harsh Australian sun at Saltwater Coast Park with the installation of a beautiful new ‘Box’ shelter.

The structure, designed by TRACT, was design developed, manufactured and installed by Fleetwood Urban and is a key feature of the ‘Pocket Park’. The transformation of the Saltwater Coast site was handled by leading Australian landscape architecture firm TRACT. The development of the park, which is joined to the Point Cook Marine Reserve and has views out to Point Phillip Bay and the Melbourne CBD, has provided the residents of this area with a spectacular and contemporary new outdoor public space.

Fleetwood was thrilled to be involved in this project, which required careful planning and design due to the complex angles of the supporting posts that are central to the design of this shelter.
