With a crystal blue sky and full sun, last Friday was perfect for another team day out! The day consisted of a cruise around the harbour followed by a game of volleyball and finally lunch and a brief tour at the iconic Ballast Point Park.

We kicked off with a stunning cruise heading downstream to the harbour bypassing the many astounding attractions along the river. The tour was filled with excitement, chatter, food and drink with Mark manning the BBQ and pumping out the perfect skewers.

After a brief bypass of our Pyrmont office and the Barangaroo Headland we proceeded through the harbour and on to Ballast Point!

Quick unloading and set-up led to an action-packed, highly competitive volleyball game, and finally onto lunch.

We were then joined by Phil Coxall of McGregor Coxall Landscape Architects who gave us a remarkable overview of our collaboration to transform the Ballast Point Park.

Gathered in the Lube ring (a fascinating art structure made of recycled oil-drums from the site) we learnt about the history of the structure and the successful collaboration between Fleetwood and McGregor Coxall that made it possible.
