Popular for snorkelling & swimming, Clovelly Beach is unique and can be easily distinguished by its Concrete platforms and promenades on both sides of the entering bay. But what makes this beach even more unique is it's inclusive access.

With a disability ramp badly battered and damaged by surf conditions, Fleetwood were engaged by Randwick council for the design and construction of a more durable / reliable structure to take it's place on the Northern side of the beach.

With the boardwalk and access platform submerged at high-tide and often battered by ocean swells and currents the solution would need to be robust and secure, yet with high levels of interaction it would also need to be safe and aesthetically pleasing.

To achieve the above we will be utilising our Kidsafe™ FRP which is a smooth yet slip-resistant decking solution. The completed structure will compliment the surrounding features and significantly improve disabled access to the water.
